AFW’s mission is the global promotion of young, European artists whose work will undoubtedly receive deserved recognition in years to come. Pluridisciplined, these artists, mostly painters and sculptors, are also accomplished engravers.

Their imagination and talent has given the ancestral art of engraving a vibrant, modern appeal. Without denying generational traditions that are a constant source of inspiration, these modern engravers have added a new dimension to their art through the exploration of bold, innovative techniques. It is this aspect of their work that brings us together.

Enriched with collage, sculpture and often hand tinted colour , their work produces a tactile and visual result. To guarantee the quality, as well as preserve the originality of their work, we intend to limit their series to between ten and ninety samples. In promoting the outstanding work of these exceptional artists, culminations of exhibitions will continue to be organized in museums, galleries and art clubs globally.
